Theodore ABC Daycare

THEODORE ABC DAYCARE is located right in ST. Theodore School and is set up for your child's care! There are Fun Activity Days and Different programs each week. Call for information on spaces at ABC daycare! They can accomodate infant right up to school age! They offer great programs to keep the kids educated and entertained! A fully equipped kitchen keeps the youngsters fed and a playground outside keeps them active! Call 306-647-2029

Programs and Services
•We have multi-grade classrooms that include grades Kindergarten through grade 8 and a strong Physical Education Program.
•Grade 6,7,8 students travel to Sacred Heart High School in Yorkton for Practical and Applied Arts including classes in Technology, Home Economics and Industrial Arts.
•Faith Based Curriculum with school-wide celebrations and prayer services. Also school assemblies for liturgical events with advent, Christmas, lent, Easter, World Catholic Education Day, and Marian prayers. We have the support of the Roman Catholic Church priest and the Ukrainian Catholic Church priests to be in our pastoral care.
•Learning support teacher, speech and language consultant, occupational therapist and school counselor for our students’ needs.
•Division consultants in Technology, Language Arts, Math and Religion.
•Extra-Curricular activities include cross-country running, badminton, track and field, curling, skating, cross-country skiing, camping experiences.
•School Community Council who represent our parents and support our school goals.
•The SCC has been a eminent factor in our school and school division purchasing Smartboards for our classrooms. We are happy that our students can work in any classroom and use the superb technology that our Smartboards can offer.

THEODORE UNITED CHURCH

Church services are resuming with the following guidelines - as directed by the provincial government -
- Seating is limited to 30 people plus leadership
- Anyone wishing to attend must call Betty Baranesky @ 306-647-2177 the week before the service to reserve a seat and leave their phone # for contact tracing should someone end up being sick or testing positive in the following two weeks
-hand sanitizing will be mandatory
-Masks must be worn during the entire service by all including those in leadership roles.
-Ushers will direct people to seats to ensure proper social distancing
-Family units will be allowed to sit together
-The whole service will be paperless with the service shown on the screen in the sanctuary.
-Please keep your coat, hat etc. with you as the coat rack will not be available
Services will be on:
Oct. 4 & 18 - Nov. 1, 15 & 29 - Dec. 13 - Christmas Eve Dec 24

BOOK CLUB IN A BAG
Get some friend together and have a look at the titles offered up and discuss if you'd like to hold your own book club! Each bag has about 5-10 books, guidelines & a signout sheet/ an author's biography & discussion questions. You can borrow it for about 6 wks.

There is a Book Club at the library on the last Thursday of every month with coffee, treats and chat about whatever it is that everyone is currently reading. If you're interested or want to check it out drop in at 2pm! Everyone is welcome!

GET A LIBRARY CARD- A DOORWAY TO MANY OPTIONS!
To sign up for a card, visit any branch or any other Saskatchewan Public Library and ask a staff member at the Circulation Desk to assist you.
Adults& Young Adults (ages 14+) must show two pieces of identification, one establishing their current address and a second piece that verifies identity.
Children (under 14 years of age) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who must show two pieces of identification, one establishing his or her current (Saskatchewan) address and a second piece that verifies identity. These documents will be used to register the child. The parent or legal guardian will need to sign the child's Library card. The signer assumes responsibility for any Library charges incurred by the child.
Borrowers are responsible for all materials borrowed on their card and any charges, including fines and replacement costs, resulting from the late return, damage or loss of materials. Any fees owing must be paid prior to annual Library card renewal.
Get a PIN (Personal Identification Number)
Library staff will also register a four-digit PIN (Personal Identification Number) on your Library account. A PIN is required to access your Parkland Regional Library account from any computer with internet access. By having a PIN, you can find out what materials you have checked out, what may be overdue and what materials you've requested by placing a hold. You are also able to renew items you currently have checked out!
